A Company has one or more Client Records assigned to it.
It serves to act as a "bucket" we can put Clients into. It also allows us to give access to our corporate-level contacts so they can view the Client & Campaign records assigned to the Company.
A Company typically has a Company Owner user assigned to it, but it is not required.
A Company Owner user can view any Client that is assigned to that Company, and any Campaigns that are under those Clients.
This includes access to Leads and the Dashboard for each of those Campaigns, as well as a Rollup Report of all Campaigns under that Company.
A Marketing Manager is assigned to a Company, and has the option to only be assigned to specific Clients under the Company.
If they are assigned to the Company and don't have a specific Client selected, then they can see any Client & Campaign under that Company (same access as the Company Owner). This includes the Leads, Dashboard and Rollup Reports.
If they are assigned to a specific Client, then they can only see the Campaigns under that Client. However, you can add the Marketing Manager role multiple times, selecting the same Company, but a different Client record each time, thereby giving the user access to a specific set of Clients. (This would be useful for a Regional Manager who has access to specific studios in a specific region.) The access includes the Leads and Dashboards for any Campaigns they have access to, and Rollup Reports for those Campaigns.
A Prospect Record is literally the same as a Client Record, but we have a special toggle to identify it as a Prospect or Client. By setting the toggle, you determine which list the Record shows up in when you view the tables from the side navigation.
We use Prospect Records for Clients who aren't active. This is typically someone our sales team is in contact with, and we want a place to put the notes and information about the sales process. It can also be someone who previously ran Campaigns with us, but has since canceled.
The Prospect can be assigned to a Company, but shouldn't be visible to any External user, so Company Owners, Marketing Managers, etc. shouldn't see these.
A Client Record represents a client of ours. This is typically the owner of one or more studios.

This is our basic External user role. A Client Owner user is assigned to a Client Record, and has full access to the Campaigns assigned to the Client Record. This includes the Dashboard and Leads for any Campaign.
This user can create and cancel Subscriptions in order to Create, Cancel, or Restart Campaigns for locations they own.
An Employee is assigned to a Client Record, and has the option to only be assigned to specific Campaigns under the Client.
If they are assigned to the Client and don't have a specific Campaign selected, then they can see any Campaign under that Client (view-only access to the same things as the Client Owner). This includes the Leads, Dashboard and Rollup Reports.
If they are assigned to a specific Campaign, then they can only see that one Campaign. However, you can add the Employee role multiple times, selecting the same Client, but a different Campaign each time, thereby giving the user access to a specific set of Campaigns. (This would be useful for a General Manager who only has access to specific studios.) The access includes the Leads and Dashboards for any Campaigns they have access to, and Rollup Reports for those Campaigns.
This user has the same capabilities as a standard Employee, but the additional ability to create and manage Subscriptions for the Client Owner.
This user can create and cancel Subscriptions in order to Create, Cancel, or Restart Campaigns.
A Subscription is associated with a Client Record.
Each location the Client wants to run a marketing campaign for needs to have a Subscription. A Subscription can be associated with one or two Campaigns, depending on what platforms the Client wants to run for this location.
A single Campaign is equal to: Company Location + Platform.
Campaigns are assigned to Client Records.
A typical studio location has up to 2 Campaigns (Google and/or Facebook) which are associated with a single Subscription.
Our naming convention treats Google as the "base" Campaign name, so Club Pilates Tustin would be for Google. For Facebook we would add "FB" to the end, so Club Pilates Tustin FB would be the Campaign for Facebook.
